Application & Buying Scenario

Perfume Packaging

Perfume packaging should be sourced as a complete fragrance system: bottle, neck finish, fine-mist pump, collar, cap, decoration and retail box. Capacity and bottle shape matter, but dispensing performance, component alignment and leakage control are equally important to the finished consumer experience.Approve the filled bottle with its actual fragrance, pump, dip tube and cap. Confirm priming, spray pattern, dosage, leakage, decoration durability and final box dimensions on production-style samples before mass production.

Decision Points

Project Requirements

01

Bottle & neck

Choose capacity and shape, then lock the exact crimp, screw or other neck specification.

02

Pump system

Match pump, gasket, actuator and dip tube to the approved bottle and fragrance.

03

Cap & collar

Confirm alignment, retention, finish and clearance on the assembled bottle.

04

Retail pack

Dimension inserts and boxes from the final assembled bottle, not the empty glass.

Buyer Notes

Configuration details to confirm

Packaging System

Use capacity to define product role—mini, travel, core retail, large size—then compare usable fill, headspace, bottle weight and assembled dimensions.

Validation & Packing

Test filled assemblies for priming, spray output, leakage and formula compatibility. Surface durability should be checked if fragrance can contact the exterior.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask about this application

These answers cover the questions most likely to affect packaging selection, component compatibility, sampling and quotation for this application.

Still have a question? Ask our team →
Can the bottle, pump, collar, and cap be supplied as a complete perfume packaging set?

Yes. Bright Glassware can coordinate the glass bottle with the pump, collar, cap, decoration and retail box as one packaging project.

Provide the bottle model and capacity, neck specification, pump requirement, cap material or finish, decoration method and packaging requirements. Approve a complete assembled sample before the components are ordered in bulk.

Do you supply empty perfume bottles for filling and private-label projects?

Yes. Empty perfume bottles can be supplied for fragrance filling, private-label programs, gift sets and retail packaging projects. Depending on the model, the package can also include a fine-mist pump, collar, cap, custom color or coating, logo decoration and retail box. Confirm the capacity, bottle model, neck specification, pump system, quantity and decoration, then test the assembled filled sample for spray performance and leakage before bulk production.

How do you match a spray pump and cap to a perfume bottle?

Start with the bottle’s exact neck finish, then match the pump, gasket, collar, cap inner structure and dip tube as one assembly. Nominal appearance or neck diameter alone does not confirm compatibility.

Approve the filled assembly for crimp or thread fit, priming, spray output, leakage, cap retention and dip-tube reach before mass production.

How do I choose between 5ml, 10ml, 30ml, 50ml, 100ml, and larger perfume bottles?

Choose capacity according to the role of the SKU. Small formats are useful for samples, discovery sets, travel or perfume oil; 30ml and 50ml are common core retail sizes; 100ml and larger formats provide more fill and usually more branding area.

Compare usable fill, bottle dimensions, pump and cap height, finished box size, glass weight, target price and sales channel together before selecting the final size.

How durable are perfume bottle coatings, printing, and electroplating?

Durability depends on glass preparation, the selected coating or printing system, curing, artwork, surface contact, fragrance exposure and packing. Different decoration methods can perform differently under rubbing, scratching or accidental formula contact.

Approve decorated samples and test adhesion, rubbing and compatibility with the intended filling and cleaning process before repeat production.
