Specify the tin beyond the ounce name
Diameter, usable depth and the actual lid arrangement identify the tin more clearly than a nominal ounce designation. The intended working fill remains a separate candle-development decision.
The material and internal-finish specification should be confirmed for the selected model. The word tin alone does not identify pure tin, aluminum, stainless steel or a particular coating.

Inspect the working edges and surfaces
Rims, seams, dents and lid seating belong in the packaging sample review. A different body depth or a seasonal outline may also create a different internal candle configuration.
The responsible developer needs the real tin with the intended wax, fragrance and wick. An attractive exterior or lightweight appearance is not a substitute for that finished-candle evaluation.
Resolve the lid artwork orientation
The circular lid and curved body are separate graphic areas. A continuous design needs the seam, edge and intended closed orientation shown on the physical sample.
