Wholesale Overview

Ceramic Candle Jars for Premium Candle & Home-Fragrance Programs

Ceramic candle jars add color, glaze and sculptural freedom, but fired dimensions and surface appearance naturally require tighter sample control than simple clear glass. OEM & Customization

Custom Ceramic Candle Jars, Glazes & Branding

Customization can combine glaze color, decal / transfer, silk-screen / logo print and embossed / sculptural mold with matched bamboo / wood lids, metal lids and project-specific secondary packaging. Existing molds are preferred when speed and cost efficiency matter; custom mold development is suitable when the brand requires a proprietary shape or structure. Approve the actual decorated and assembled sample because glass/ceramic/metal surface, component fit and retail packaging can change the final result.

Packaging & Export

Protective Packaging for Ceramic Candle Jars

Packing for ceramic candle jars is planned from the real product shape, weight, decoration and accessory set. Use fitted foam, EPE or strong cells around rims and bases where fired ceramic needs more impact protection. Separate glazed surfaces with sleeves, tissue or bags to reduce abrasion and transfer marks. For branded programs, retail boxes or inserts should be sized from the approved assembled product. Master-carton quantity and pallet pattern should be confirmed against actual…

Discuss Specifications
01

Key Buying Criteria

Fired dimensions

Approve the actual fired sample for fill, lid and box fit.

Glaze / color standard

Use a physical master sample and defined visual acceptance range.

Usable candle geometry

Measure the actual finished vessel before candle testing.

Pack protection

Use fitted inner protection and verify master-carton compression.

MOQ & production scope

From 1,000 pcs on selected existing ceramic candle-jar models. Confirm the exact model, decoration, accessory set and packing before locking the final MOQ and schedule.

02

Specifications to Confirm

Fired outer dimensions

Use production-representative fired samples because shrinkage and firing can change size.

Internal candle geometry

Confirm internal diameter, depth and usable fill before wick development and burn testing.

Rim / lid fit

Approve the lid on fired production-style jars; nominal mold dimensions are not enough.

Glaze / color standard

Approve a physical master sample and an acceptable visual range for repeat production.

Pack dimensions

Use the fired vessel + lid size when designing EPE, inner boxes or gift packaging.

FAQ

Common buyer questions

Quick answers to the questions that most often affect product selection, sampling and quotation.

What is the difference between ceramic and porcelain candle jars? +

“Ceramic” and “porcelain” can describe different body compositions and firing processes, but the marketing name alone is not enough to select a candle vessel. Review the actual material specification, fired dimensions, wall structure, glaze, weight, surface finish and lid fit.

For candle use, approve the production-style vessel and then complete filling and burn testing with the intended wax, fragrance and wick system.

Why can ceramic candle jars show small differences in glaze or color? +

Ceramic color and surface appearance can vary slightly because the body, glaze application, kiln position and firing conditions all affect the finished piece.

Use approved physical samples to define the acceptable shade, gloss or matte level, texture and decoration standard. Keep the same reference and inspection lighting for repeat orders.

How do I choose the right candle jar size and diameter? +

Start with the planned usable wax fill, target burn format, wick layout, label area, lid, box and desired shelf presence. Review outside dimensions together with the internal diameter and actual usable volume.

A wider jar may require a different wick configuration from a tall narrow jar. Request the drawing and sample, then confirm fill weight, component fit and burn performance before production.

How should candle containers be prepared before wax filling? +

Before filling, inspect the received containers and separate any pieces with visible damage. Keep vessels dry, clean and free from loose dust, and confirm that the correct jar, lid and decoration have been supplied.

Filling temperature, any preheating method, wick placement, curing and burn-test procedures should be established by the candle manufacturer for the actual vessel, wax and fragrance system. Avoid unapproved cleaning or heating methods that could affect coatings, decals or glazes.
