In a sourcing project, the important points are the body composition, firing method, wall thickness, glaze, weight, water absorption, surface finish, lid fit, and intended candle use. Do not rely on the marketing name alone. Ask for the product specification and a physical sample, then complete filling and burn testing with the actual production-style vessel.

Fired ceramic surfaces can show small differences in shade, gloss, texture, speckling, or edge coverage because the body, glaze application, kiln position, and firing conditions interact. Bright Glassware offers ceramic candle jars and custom color work, but the current website does not publish one numerical glaze tolerance. A project should use approved samples to define the acceptable appearance and identify which defects are not allowed. For repeat orders, keep the color reference, finish description, and inspection lighting consistent.

Start with the planned wax fill, burn format, label area, lid, box, and desired shelf presence. Bright Glassware’s candle listings show multiple ounce and millilitre options and also offer customized sizes, so the outside dimensions should be reviewed together with usable internal volume. A wider jar may support a different wick arrangement from a tall narrow jar, while a heavy or unusually shaped vessel may change packing cost. Request the drawing and sample, then confirm the actual wax fill and burn test rather than choosing only by the advertised capacity name.

The current Bright Glassware site does not publish a formal wax-filling procedure. Before filling, the candle maker should inspect the received containers, keep them dry and free of loose dust, confirm the correct model and lid, and separate any pieces with visible damage. Avoid introducing an unapproved cleaning chemical or heating method that could affect a coating, decal, glaze, or adhesive. The filling temperature, preheating decision, wick placement, curing, and burn-test protocol should be set by the candle manufacturer for the actual vessel and formula.
