Surface Finish

Engraved / Etched Perfume Bottles

Engraved and etched perfume bottles use permanent or semi-permanent surface detail to create logos, monograms or decorative patterns. Confirm the process, artwork depth, usable decoration area and finished appearance on the actual bottle before production.

Buyer Notes

What else should be checked?

Finish Process & Look

Mechanical engraving, laser processes, acid etching or another approved method can create permanent or semi-permanent detail. Confirm line width, depth and final contrast on the bottle.

Application & Branding

Use sufficiently controlled surfaces for fine text or logos. Curved, faceted or thin areas may require artwork changes or a different decoration position.

How durable are perfume bottle coatings, printing, and electroplating?

Bright Glassware offers spraying, frosting, electroplating, screen printing, hot stamping, engraving, labeling, and related effects on fragrance packaging. The current site does not publish a single chemical- or abrasion-resistance result for all processes. Durability depends on the glass preparation, coating system, artwork, curing, contact with alcohol or oil, handling, and packing. Approve decorated samples and test the actual fragrance, wiping method, scratch exposure, cap contact, and box inserts before releasing the design for mass production.

What logo and decoration methods are available for glass packaging?

Bright Glassware’s existing pages list silk-screen printing, decals, hot stamping, spraying, frosting, electroplating, engraving, labeling, and embossed decoration among the available options. The best choice depends on the container material, artwork detail, number of colors, required coverage, and the desired premium or minimalist appearance. For example, a simple one-color logo may suit screen printing, while metallic branding may use hot stamping or a coordinated plated component. Final artwork and placement should be confirmed on a layout or sample before mass production.

Can several finishes be combined on the same bottle or jar?

Several finishes can often be combined when the order sequence is technically workable. A project might pair a sprayed background with screen printing, or use a frosted bottle with a metallic cap and a printed box. Bright Glassware’s website shows that these processes and components are handled within one packaging program, but it does not publish a universal combination chart. The recommended approach is to select the base container first, define the visual hierarchy, and make a decorated sample to check adhesion, registration, color, and handling before production.

Can I customize an existing bottle without opening a new mold?

Yes. An existing Bright Glassware bottle or jar can often be made brand-specific without changing the glass mold. Published options include custom colors, frosting, electroplating, screen printing, decals, hot stamping, engraving, labels, wooden or metal lids, perfume components, and custom boxes. This route is usually simpler than developing a new shape because the basic dimensions are already established. A new mold is only considered when the capacity, outline, opening, base, wall structure, or another structural feature must change.
