Application & Buying Scenario

Private Label Candle Packaging

Private-label candle packaging should create a repeatable branded system around the jar, wax fill, lid, decoration and retail box. A standard vessel can often become highly differentiated through color, logo, label, lid and packaging without the cost and lead time of a new mold.Approve the candle performance first, then lock the branding and packaging around the validated vessel. Keep physical color/finish samples, artwork and lid references so future batches can be repeated consistently.

Decision Points

Project Requirements

01

Validated candle vessel

Confirm usable wax fill, inner geometry and burn-test baseline.

02

Brand decoration

Approve color, logo method and placement on the actual vessel.

03

Matched lid

Confirm lid material, fit and finish with the finished jar.

04

Repeat packaging

Lock box, insert and item references for future production.

Packaging System

Choose a size family that supports the planned candle range and consistent branding across SKUs.

Validation & Packing

Complete burn testing with the intended wax, fragrance and wick. Decoration approval should follow filling/use evaluation where relevant.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask about this application

These answers cover the questions most likely to affect packaging selection, component compatibility, sampling and quotation for this application.

Still have a question? Ask our team →
Can a small launch use custom colors and logos?

Custom colors and logos can be discussed for a small launch, but the practical minimum depends on the selected product and decoration process. Printing, spray coating, electroplating, decals and custom boxes can each have different setup quantities. For a lower-risk launch, start with an existing bottle or jar and limit the number of custom processes where possible. Provide the model, target quantity, Pantone reference and artwork so the team can confirm which customization route is commercially realistic for the planned first production run.

What artwork files are needed for logo printing or packaging design?

Vector artwork is preferred for logos and printed graphics because it can be scaled without losing edge quality. AI, EPS or editable PDF files are the most practical starting formats; high-resolution PSD files can also be reviewed when vector artwork is unavailable. Include the intended logo size, color references and placement where possible. For boxes, labels or multi-color decoration, also provide the latest artwork and brand guidelines, then approve the final layout or sample before production.

Can you create boxes that match the bottle or candle jar?

Yes. Retail boxes and inserts can be developed around the finished container and its components. For perfume packaging, the box should be dimensioned from the assembled bottle with pump, collar and cap—not the empty glass alone.

Share the approved product sample or finished dimensions, required presentation, insert style, print artwork and shipping requirements so the secondary packaging can be fitted correctly.

How do I choose the right candle jar size and diameter?

Start with the planned usable wax fill, target burn format, wick layout, label area, lid, box and desired shelf presence. Review outside dimensions together with the internal diameter and actual usable volume.

A wider jar may require a different wick configuration from a tall narrow jar. Request the drawing and sample, then confirm fill weight, component fit and burn performance before production.
