Capacity & Size

Candle Holder Sizes

Candle holder sizes should be compared by actual external and internal dimensions, base stability and the candle format the holder is intended to support. Capacity labels are often less useful for holders than opening size, internal clearance, height, footprint and weight. If the glass will contain poured wax, confirm usable fill and complete candle testing. If it surrounds or supports a separate candle, check candle fit, ventilation, clearance and stability with the intended format. Decorative or shaped holders also need packaging designed around their real geometry and fragile contact points.

Buyer Notes

What else should be confirmed?

Nominal Capacity / Range

For candle holders, actual dimensions and intended candle format are usually more useful than a nominal capacity label.

Key Dimensions & Fit

Compare outer diameter/width, internal clearance, opening, height, base footprint, weight and any protruding or shaped features.

How to Choose

Choose the size by candle compatibility, stability, shelf footprint, décor proportion and protective packing rather than capacity alone.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask about this size

These answers cover the questions most likely to affect product selection, sampling and quotation for this collection.

Can any glass jar be used for candle making?

No. A container being made of glass does not automatically make it suitable for candle use. Select a model intended for candle applications and evaluate the complete candle system: vessel geometry, wax, fragrance load, wick, fill level and intended burn conditions.

Before launch, run controlled burn tests with production-representative jars. Decorative appearance alone is not enough to approve a vessel for a candle program.

How do I choose the right candle jar size and diameter?

Start with the planned usable wax fill, target burn format, wick layout, label area, lid, box and desired shelf presence. Review outside dimensions together with the internal diameter and actual usable volume.

A wider jar may require a different wick configuration from a tall narrow jar. Request the drawing and sample, then confirm fill weight, component fit and burn performance before production.

How are glass bottles and jars packed for international shipping?

Export packing is selected according to product shape, weight, finish, accessories and shipping method. Common protection includes partitions, molded trays, inner bags or wraps, cartons, corner protection, pallet wrapping and extra separation for decorated surfaces.

Heavy, shaped or protruding products need different protection from simple round containers. Final packing should be approved with the actual product and component set rather than copied from another model.

Can I order samples before placing a bulk order?

Yes. Existing product samples are useful for checking size, weight, appearance and basic fit. Decorated or component-matched samples are more appropriate when color, logo, coating, lids, applicators or retail packaging are important to the decision.

Sample availability, charges, decoration cost and courier freight depend on the project. Use the approved sample or specification as the reference before bulk production begins.
