Closures & Accessories

Roller Balls & Caps

Roller balls and caps are used with perfume-oil, attar and essential-oil roller bottles where controlled topical dispensing is required. Correct performance depends on the bottle opening, insert housing, roller movement, cap fit and the viscosity of the actual formula.Approve the filled roller bottle for flow rate, smooth rolling, insert retention and leakage before bulk production. A component that fits the opening mechanically may still dispense too quickly or too slowly with a different oil blend, so formula testing is essential.

Decision Points

Component Options

01

Roller Insert

Insert and ball assembly matched to the opening of the selected roll-on bottle.

02

Matching Cap

Cap construction coordinated with the roller housing and bottle neck for storage and transport.

03

Bottle + Roller Assembly

Final performance should be evaluated on the selected bottle with the actual formula.

Buyer Notes

What else should be checked?

Fit & Sealing

Confirm bottle opening, insert outside dimensions, insertion depth and cap fit on the exact production bottle.

Validation & Packing

Test roller movement, dispensing rate, formula viscosity, insert retention, cap fit and leakage through repeated use.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask about this closure or accessory

These answers cover the questions most likely to affect product selection, sampling and quotation for this collection.

Still have a question? Ask our team →
What bottle and closure options are suitable for attar and perfume oil?

Attar and perfume oil commonly use small glass bottles with roller balls, dabbers, reducers, stoppers, droppers or screw caps. The correct option depends on formula viscosity, desired dosage, carry use, leakage risk and brand presentation.

Test the actual oil with the selected ball, plug, gasket, liner or other liquid-contact component because concentrated fragrance oils can interact differently with closure materials.

Can formula compatibility be confirmed?

Formula compatibility can be evaluated, but it must be confirmed with the actual product and all liquid-contact materials. Glass may be only one part of the system; pumps, gaskets, bulbs, reducers, rollers, plugs, liners, coatings and adhesives can also interact with the formula. Provide the intended formulation and selected components so an appropriate test plan can be agreed. Final approval should be based on representative filled samples under the required storage and use conditions.

What measurements are needed to match a cap, lid, pump, or stopper?

Provide the exact container model whenever possible. If a model is not available, measure the finished opening or neck and include the dimensions that control component fit: outside and inside diameter, thread or crimp specification, rim or lid-seat geometry, relevant heights and any insertion depth.

For pumps, also provide the neck finish and required dip-tube length. For lids and stoppers, a technical drawing or physical sample is strongly preferred because nominal diameter alone does not describe threads, tapers, gaskets, inserts or fit tolerances.

Can I buy lids, caps, pumps, stoppers, or reeds separately?

Separate accessory orders may be possible, but compatibility must be confirmed before production. Provide the Bright Glassware model number or the exact bottle or jar opening/neck dimensions, required material and finish, quantity and, when possible, a drawing or physical sample.

Do not assume an accessory will fit only because the nominal diameter looks similar. Opening geometry, thread or insertion details, tolerances and component construction should be checked on representative samples.
